EMASS Softball Player of the Day for April 8th

Liz Dimascio twirled a 16K, shutout in the circle as Braintree thwacked Walpole (14-0).
Revere's Paige Licata (4-4, 3B, 4 RBI's) missiled the Patriots past Somerville (9-5).
Keliann Kirby (check this stat sheet out) had a career in one day as she pitched (2-hitter, 14 K's) and hit (4-5, 2 triples, 2 HR's, 5 RBI's) Marian to a (16-2) pounding of Trinity Catholic.
Quincy's Kori Sorensen (pictured above) pitched a 4-hit, 11 strikeout shutout at the Presidents pardoned Silver Lake (3-0).
Newburyport's freshman Molly Rowe (CG, 4K, 3-hitter) looks to a have a bright future in the circle as the Clippers sheared Haverhill (3-1).
Rebecca DiBiase pitched a 2-hit, 8K shutout while driving in the only Wellesley run in a (1-0) victory over Bay State rival Framingham.
Lynn Classical's Katie Fitzgerald (2-2, run scored, 4 RBI's) lead the onslaught as the Rams head butted Cambridge (14-0).
Nicole D'Argento (yup, her again) pitched a 9K, one-hit shutout in the circle as Ashland whitewashed Dover-Sherborn (18-0).
Milton's Brenna Callahan pitched a one-hitter and for good measure posted these numbers at the dish (4-5, triple, 6 RBI's) to lead the Wildcats to (15-0) scratching of Brookline.
Noelle Christmas (4-5, HR, and pick up the win in the circle) propelled Plymouth South to a (14-3) pasting of Dennis-Yarmouth.
Hanover's Ericka Stearns (4-4, 2 HR's, 4 RBI's) was the chief reason the Indians had no reservations about Pembroke (18-1).
Michelle Cooprider (10 K's, 2 hits) was the offensive and pitching star as Hopkinton defeated Millis (10-1).
Durfee's Caitlin Carey (4-5, 2 doubles) helped power the Hilltoppers offensive explosion as they pummeled Dartmouth (17-2).
Gianna DeSisito (3-4, 3B, 5 RBI's) contributed to the offensive onslaught as Whitman-Hanson blasted Hingham (22-1).
