Andrew Musler hit a driving 10 footer off the backboard at the buzzer over Alex Blaine for the win for Belmont High School over North Andover High School in the final of the 1st Annual Boston Summer High School Shootout at Wentworth Institute of Technology. With the win Belmont posted a perfect (7-0) record for the weekend.

Belmont shot out to the early lead but North Andover, behind the shooting of Tommy O'Connell and Matt Sifferlain, gained control of the game and were actually leading by 7 points with a little more than one minute to play. After 2 successive steals by Marcus Papas, Musler hit 2 three point field goals to bring Belmont within 1 point to setup the final heroics. Musler lead all scorers with 30 points.

The 2 most exciting games of the weekend both involved Andover High School. In pool play, New Mission High School's Osmal Odena hit a fall away 3-point shot at the buzzer to defeat Andover.
