Woburn head girls basketball coach Kate Martin will not be back next year for the Tanners. The Athletic Department at Woburn confirmed her departure but no reason was given.

EMASS Boys basketball--Mike Watson resigns from Coyle-Cassidy
EMassSports.com has been informed that longtime Coyle-Cassidy basketball coach Mike "Doc" Watson has tendered his resignation to pursue other endeavors.
Watson's was (31-12) in his last two years at Coyle-Cassidy while also garnering the first solo Eastern Athletic Conference basketball title in school history.

EMASS Baseball Players of the Day for June 13th
Players of the Day for Saturday, June 13, 2009.
Tyler Horan (pictured above) belted a 3-run first inning homerun to lead BC High to its 2nd straight MIAA State Division 1 Championship with a (11-2) drubbing of St. John's of Shrewsbury.
Steve Perasklis went 8 gutsy innings, striking out 10 to propel Abington to the MIAA State Division 3 Championship in a (10-5) win over West Boylston.

Kiki Saveriano had 14 strikeouts and allowed only two hits as Lexington captured its 2nd straight MIAA State Division 1 Championship with a (2-0) shutout of Gardner.
Nicole D'Argento spun a no-hitter in the circle while striking out 10 to lead Ashland to its 2nd straight MIAA State Division 2 Championship in a (3-0) whitewashing of Hudson.
Sam Kiley came on in relief again (5 IP, 0 runs, 3 hits) to put out the fire as St. Mary's pulled out all the stops to win the MIAA State Division 3 Championship (8-5) over Monty Tech.
