Liz DiMascio (pictured above) had 13 strikeouts to lead Braintree to a (3-1) decision over Reading in a Bay State vs Middlesex League battle.
Greater New Bedford's Courtney Rebello accounted for all of the Bears runs as they defeated Shawsheen (2-1) in the State Vocational tournament.
Emily Beinecke got the game winning hit in the 9th inning as Concord-Carlisle knocked off defending D1 State Champ Lexington (1-0).
East Bridgewater's Nicole Eisenmann (double, HR, 4 RBI's) powered the Vikings to a (9-7) decision over Old Rochester in a South Shore League vs South Coast Conference slugfest.
Kiki Saveriano pitched 16 innings and struckout 24 in two different games along with hitting a 2-run homerun as Lexington defeated Cardinal Spellman (2-1) in the Memorial Day Smash.
North Shore's Stephanie Rudis (4 hits, 2 HR's, 4 RBI's) powered the Bulldogs to a (17-1) shellacking of WMass' Pathfinder in the State Vocational tournament.
