Derek Lowe (pictured above) went 2-3 with 3 runs scored and a stolen base to lead Lincoln-Sudbury to a (12-0) whitewashing of Natick in the Rich Pedroli Memorial Daily News Classic final.


Joab Fuertes (4-4, 5 RBI's) lead the Madison Park attack as they win the Boston City Championship (11-10) over Brighton.


Lynn Classical's Wade Barber threw a 2-hitter to lead the Rams to a (4-0) shutout of North Reading in a NEC vs CAL battle.


Andrew Sinkewicz (3-1-1-2) powered Georgetown to a (7-6) victory over Newburyport in a Cape Ann League nail biter.


Central Catholic's Tim Wheeler (3-4, 2 runs, 2 HR's, 2 RBI's) propelled the Raiders to a (12-11) win over Haverhill in a Merrimack Valley Conference slugfest.


Chris Fox fired a 3-hit, 3 K masterpiece as Braintree upset Hingham (3-1) in a Bay State vs Patriot League pitcher's duel.


Burlington's Kyle Camilleri (7 IP, 4 hits, 9 K's) spun a masterpiece as the Red Devils pounded Concord-Carlisle (9-2) in a Middlesex vs Dual County League mismatch.


Angelo Codispoti had 2 more hits and garnered the tournament MVP as St. Mary's surprised Lynn English (6-5) to win the 27th Nipper Clancy Memorial Tournament.


Old Rochester's Ryan Church (3-4, walk-off double) was the offensive catalyst in the Bulldogs (4-3) decision over Bishop Stang in a South Coast vs Eastern Athletic Conference battle.
