Players of the Day for Monday, June 1, 2009.


Kelly Naegelin (pictured above) threw a no-hitter to go along with 14 strikeouts to lead #1 Cohasset to a (4-0) win over #9 Hull in a D3 South tilt.


Braintree's Liz DiMascio spun a one-hit, 15 K shutout as #4 Braintree dispatched #12 Bishop Feehan (2-0) in a D1 South pitcher's duel.


Rae Copan struck out 7 while allowing no walks in #11 Newton North's (2-1) win over #14 Beverly in a D1 North nail biter.


Woburn's Meaghan Moore (4-4, RBI) powered the #5 Tanners to a (6-3) victory over #4 Acton-Boxboro in D1 North action.


Katie Bumila (4-4, 2 runs, RBI) supplied the pop as #11 Coyle-Cassidy eliminated #14 Bishop Stang (6-1) in a D2 South battle of rivals.


Brockton's Stephanie Ameen (CG, Win, double, 2 RBI's) was Miss Everything as the #24 Boxers upset #1 King Philip (5-3) in a D1 South shocker.


Jessica Guevara allowed 5 hits while striking out three in #2 Nantucket's (4-1) decision over #10 Greater New Bedford in a D3 South scrap.


Danver's Diana Bean (2-hitter, 5 K's) continued the #1 Falcons dream season with a (6-1) win over #8 Lincoln-Sudbury in D1 North.


Adria Kotsiopoulos (CG, 3-hitter, 3 K's) was immense in #3 West Bridgewater's (2-1) victory over #6 Harwich in a D3 South pitcher's duel.


Norwood's Ali Maloof spun a 5-hit, 8 K gem as the #2 Mustangs sent home #10 Somerset (4-1) in D1 South action.
