Steve Perakslis (pictured above) fired a one-hitter to go along with 15 strikeouts to lead Abington to a (11-0) whitewashing of Rockland.


Nantuckets's Andrew Benson threw a no-hitter in game 2 of the Whalers twin bill sweep (1-0, 2-0) of New Testament.


Gordy Thomas (7 IP, 8 K's, 3-5, GW RBI) supplied the arm and stick in Wellesley's (4-3) Bay State League win over Dedham.


Marshfield's Jeff Kilday (3-4, double, HR, 2 runs, 3 RBI's) was the offensive force in the Rams Atlantic Coast Conference win over Falmouth.


Greg Gerry (6-6, 3 runs, 3 RBI's) powered Cardinal Spellman to a (23-5) pounding of Catholic Central foe, Austin Prep.


Bishop Feehan's Billy Karalis (2-2, two 2-run doubles, 5 RBI's) propelled the Shamrocks to a (14-5) drubbing of Coyle-Cassidy in an Eastern Athletic Conference mismatch.


Anthony Lamattina (3-4, 5 RBI's) was the offensive catalyst in Wakefield's (7-3) Middlesex League win over Woburn.


Saugus' Craig Cole (3 hits, 3 RBI's) jump started the Sachems to a (11-0) shutout of Northeastern Conference foe, Salem.


Nick Filloramo fired a 3-hit, 13 strikeout gem as Old Rochester defeats (5-2) South Coast Conference opponent Wareham.


Provincetown's Cody Silva pitched 2 complete games (3-2, 1-2) while giving up a combined 6 hits and striking out 15 in the Fisherman's doubleheader split with South Shore Christian.
