IT IS SOMEWHAT DISAPPOINTING THAT EVERETT'S END OF THE YEAR SCHEDULE MAKES IT DIFFICULT TO PUMP UP THE BEST TEAM IN THE STATE.

THE LOSER OF THIS GAME WILL HAVE A VERY DIFFICULT TIME TRYING TO MAKE THE PLAYOFFS.

BIG RED COUNTRY WILL BE FIRED UP FOR THIS GAME, BUT JUST TOO MUCH SIZE FOR THE HORNETS.

DANGER LURKING IN THIS ROAD CONTEST AT BELMONT.

#10 BISHOP FEEHAN--33 VS #189 DURFEE--7

WELL, NEVER MIND.

HOME FIELD IS THE DIFFERENCE IN THIS DUAL COUNTY LEAGUE CLASH.

#14 MELROSE--28 VS #86 MALDEN--10

MELROSE LOOKING TO STAY HEALTHY IN ANTICIPATION OF NEXT WEEK'S GAME AGAINST READING.

#15 GLOUCESTER--33 VS #35 LYNN ENGLISH--17

FISHERMAN KEEP PILING UP THE POINTS. SOMEWHERE ON THE HORIZON I SEE AN EPIC BATTLE WITH MASCONOMET.

BIG BLUE STRUGGLES WITH A GAME BEVERLY TEAM.

#18 ST JOHN'S PREP--27 @ #59 MALDEN CATHOLIC--10

I understand your ratings and I respect them.. But The one thing that makes no sense in this is the "COMMON SENSE FACTOR" ...

Swampscott behing Gloucester.. My friend that game happened already.. Now kick'in the common sense factor ..

COMMON SENSE.

SHOULD EVERETT BE BEHIND ST JOHN'S PREP?

That is a great point and I am glad you brought it up.. If we were using a similar poll as the BCS would St. John's have been entitled to a #1 ranking after there win over E? Without question. However they have since lost to many games to make the same case.

All things being equal Swampscott beats Gloucester head to head and wins out they are entitled to hold a higher ranking then Glo. Not only did Swamp beat Glo but they beat every other common team (Nec small and large).

I theink Glo is a great team and should they go on to win a Super Bowl by BCS standards that would only raise Swampscott higher..

Its a great poll but I would review those two teams or check them out live ... I think you'll find the NEC south is far stronger then you think is only going to get stronger next year when Glo comes down.

Maybe it makes sense that Danny V uses a super 7 in wach division becasue it becomes to hard to guage.. but I think in "head to head" all things being equal and you WIN OUT (thats the key) you are netitled to the higher ranking and the respect.. Its a crime to do it any other way..

I think the polls great but and the rankings are awesome but I think you need to analyze that one combination a bit deeper..

I THINK WE PUT THIS TOPIC TO BED AFTER BIG BLUE'S GUT WRENCHING LOSS TO BEVERLY TODAY.
